HEATHER LESLIE

A member of The Royal Academy of Dancing and Actra Toronto, Heather has worked extensively in many stage, television, and film productions since she landed her first commercial dance production with Disney Incorporated. She began her training in ballet, modern, jazz, and national dance at the Claude Watson School for the Arts and also with dance studio, All That Dance, ending her pre-professional career with the modern company, Canadian Children's Dance Theatre.

Recent highlights have taken her as far abroad as Macau, China and Hong Kong where she performed in a live show for the Sands International Hotel & Casino. Heather was also cast in the latest So You Think You Can Dance commercial choreographed by Luther Brown of Do Dat Entertainment. She has been featured as a dancer on MTV, YTV, Much Music, bpm:TV, appeared as a dancer in Repo: The Genetic Opera, and in dance-themed music videos such as 1,2,3,4 by, Feist. She has choreographed for productions such as Nuit Blanche, The Red City, and guest teaches at the top theatre schools, studios, and conventions across Canada.

Heather co-directs the pre-professional O.I.P. Dance Company, inspiring the new and young talent in Toronto to begin building their careers in this Arts Industry. Her newest choreographic project is Evoke Movement Dance Theatre- a Contemporary Company founded by her and Jessica Campbell. They have already shown at Dundas Square, and the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Look out for more :-)
