Originally from Montreal, Apolonia represents a remarkable dance repertoire that has constantly been evolving through the years. She is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and educator. Her dance background includes Hip hop, House Dancing, Contemporary, Ballet, Waacking, Afro Brazilian and various Latin Dances. Her knowledge and understanding of street dances and conventional dance styles makes her a well-rounded artistic director. She is committed to increase the visibility of street dances, to put onstage work that involves outstanding passionate dancers whose talent equals their personalities, and to educate the masses about the importance of being a Gadfly in today's society: Don't settle for less than what you truly are worth, dare to question the established standards and INNOVATE.

Apolonia has worked for artists such as: Jully Black, Thunderheist, Eva Avila, Massari, Masia One, Cory Lee, Shawn Desman, Anjulie and Rochester. She can be seen in commercials for So you think you can dance Canada, Nike, MTV, Bell, Virgin Mobile and has performed live for companies like Bench clothing and GM Canada. She is one of the Founders of emerging dance company Gadfly. This company has performed during Festivals such as: Nuit Blanche, Luminato, Toronto Fringe, Break Beats & Culture, Women in Dance, and International Dance Day. Also, it has contributed to organizations such as "Keep-A-Breast", "Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists", "The Speech and Stuttering Institute", and "Rethink Breast Cancer". Apolonia has showcased her craft in major cities worldwide. Now, she has set for mission to influence common beliefs towards an ideal of Freedom, Diversity, and Innovation.
